Time To Give Up?
by No Limits on December 6th, 2021
“But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.” - 2 Chronicles 15:7  If you are going to pursue God and His purpose and plan for your life, you will face adversity. Tough times, difficult circumstances, and heartbreaking moments will be on the menu. It is not a matter of if, but when these moments come. If the question is not a matter of “whether” they will come, th...  Read More

Mountains Already Moved
by No Limits on November 29th, 2021
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” – Matthew 7:7  Have you been waiting on God to move a mountain in your life? Matthew 7:7 speaks of God’s willingness to answer those who sincerely seek Him. These are promises that God provides through prayer, not a means of spiritual manipulation that guarantee God will answer any and everything t...  Read More

Looking Up

“Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, your ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.” - Psalm 24:7  Thomas Edison was deaf in one ear and hard of hearing in the other due to the effects of the scarlet fever and a bow to the head. However, Edison stated that this was in fact a blessing because he was able to concentrate on his work without distractions, and his work birthed some of...  Read More

Invite Him In
by No Limits on November 27th, 2021
“So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks find; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” - Luke 11:9-10    The good news is when we invite God into our home, some things are guaranteed to happen—things start moving and shifting. You do not just have to wait for t...  Read More

A Divine Partnership
by No Limits on November 24th, 2021
“Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” - Luke 6:38  One of the primary ways to show God you are committed to Him is through sacrificial giving and tithing. We might believe God can and will do what He said He would, but when we fail to give, we aren’t...  Read More

Push The Car

“Make vows to the Lord your God and fulfill them; let all the neighboring lands bring gifts to the One to be feared.” - Psalm 76:11    As believers in God, we should pray and believe like it’s all up to God, but work, serve, and sacrifice like it is all up to us. Something happens in the heart of God when we offer a sacrifice to Him by faith.   Not long ago, I was in my hotel in Atlanta. While I w...  Read More

Faith Demands Sacrifice
by No Limits on November 22nd, 2021
“And without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever would approach him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.” - Hebrews 11:6  In Joshua 6, God sent Joshua to the city of Jericho for what, at the time, seemed like an impossible task—to bring down the walls of Jericho and gain access to the city (mind you the embankment retaining wall was 12-15 feet high, and...  Read More

Are You Ride or Die?

“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” - Hebrews 11:6  Have you ever questioned God? Have you called out to Him and blatantly asked Him, “Are you going to do what you said you would do, God?” First Lady Jill Biden recently spoke about struggling with faith after her stepson di...  Read More

Faith Is God’s Love Language
by No Limits on November 20th, 2021
“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” - Hebrews 11:6  Throughout the Bible, God illustrates that what happens for us, in us, and through us is a result of standing on our faith when times get tough. Faith, sincere faith, sparks the delight of God.   What communicates to God t...  Read More

The Faith Factor
by No Limits on November 19th, 2021
“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” - Hebrews 11:1    Over the last week, we have talked about the challenges of waiting on God. We examined the frustration Abram felt with knowing there was a promise on his life. But after 10 years, he was struggling with the fact that it hadn’t happened yet. Genesis 15:6 states that after everything Abram endured...  Read More

I Still Believe

“…all things are possible to him who believes.” - Mark 9:23  I once heard a story about when explorers first visited Australia, they found a mammal that laid eggs, dwelled in water and on land, had a flat tail and webbed feet, and a bill like a duck. Upon their return to England, they told the populace of this, and everyone believed it was a hoax. They returned to Australia and found a pelt from t...  Read More

Too Much Analyzing

“But someone will say, ‘you have faith; I have deeds.’ Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds.” - James 2:18  Faith, according to Hebrews 11, is the confidence in what we hope for and the assurance about that which we have not yet seen. There is a common phrase, “I’ll believe it when I see it.” But when it comes to faith, you have to believe it before you receiv...  Read More

When The Grass Withers
by No Limits on September 26th, 2021
“The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the word of our God stands forever.”  - Isaiah 40:8 Does your faith need refueling? The same way that a gas tank gets drained with time, so can your faith dwindle with the passing of time if you aren’t careful. When you need to refuel, what you need is to go hear the Word of God. That’s why we gather for worship, whether in person or online, because the...  Read More

Faithful In a Divine Delay
by No Limits on September 24th, 2021
“Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes.” - Psalms 37:7There is a story in Luke about a man named Simeon who waited his entire life to see the Messiah, the one who would save and lead the people of God and establish a new kingdom. Simeon is told by the Holy Spirit that he would not see de...  Read More

What To Do While Waiting
by No Limits on September 21st, 2021
“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, Wait patiently for the Lord.” – Psalms 27:14 Author and speaker Joyce Meyer once said, “Patience is not simply the ability to wait – it’s how we behave while we’re waiting.” There is a process that you must endure; but if you remember that there is purpose in the wait, it will help you to navigate difficult days. In Genesis 37–50, the story is told of a young Joseph who was sold into slavery by his brothers out of hatred and jealousy. Joseph went from being a personal servant and being falsely accused of rape followed by imprisonment, to being the highest official in ancient Egypt to serve the pharaoh. He ultimately established peace with his brothers. Joseph said to his brothers, “do not be distressed and do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here, because it was to save lives…God sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a remnant on earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance. Joseph understood that his journey had purpose and meaning. No matter what you are going through, there are a couple of things that you can do will waiting on God. First is to pursue your faith. Instead of filling yourself with worry and doubt, use that time to pray. Stand on the Word of God. Use that time to develop patience and understanding. Second, change your attitude. Your next level will require a stronger and more mature version of yourself. Challenges will be on that level as well. Taking on an attitude of gratitude will make the wait more manageable. Third, serve others. When you are helping others, you have less time to focus on your problems. If you are faithful with the little things, God can trust you with the larger things. Don’t waste your waiting period of the things you cannot control. Allow God to prepare you for what you are going to receive and continue to live out His will for your life in the meantime. God’s ultimate purpose is to make you more like Jesus. And that is worth the process.   Read More

Just Stand Up

“I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” – Philippians 4:13If faith is the realm in which God operates, fear is the realm in which Satan operates. Fear keeps you stuck. It paralyzes you from the actualization of your full potential. Fear will have you thinking about comfortability instead of greater opportunity. Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “fear defeats more people than any other ...  Read More

Faith Over Fear

“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” – Hebrews 11:6One way to lose your power is to succumb to fear. One of the enemy’s most popular tactics is to convince you to be fearful of your situation, as opposed to having faith. God called Jonah to “Go at once to Nineveh, that great...  Read More

He wants to make you like Jesus, and He wants to use you for great work for His kingdom. The plans God has for you are greater than you...  Read More

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” - Romans 8:28  Have you ever asked God why He allows certain things to happen? Why an issue had to arise and why you can’t just avoid the problem altogether? The disciples wondered the same thing when it came to Jesus’ death and why He had to depart from them. What they wer...  Read More

What is Troubling Your Heart?
by No Limits on August 16th, 2021
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you may also be where I am.” - John 14:1-3  In order to deal with a troubled heart, you must first learn t...  Read More
