Nourishing Your Soul
“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.” - Proverbs 23:7
The way you think and the things you feed your soul matter. Just as your body needs proper nourishment to function well, your soul thrives on spiritual, emotional, and relational “soul food.” God’s Word, affirming thoughts, healthy relationships, and joyful experiences are all vital ingredients for a flourishing soul.
Your soul craves God-affirming truths. It needs reminders that God is your Father, you are His child, and because of Jesus, you are forgiven and free. Feeding yourself these truths can transform how you see yourself and the world. When you affirm that you are loved, chosen, and protected by God, it shapes your thoughts and strengthens your spirit. The more you remind yourself of who God is, the more you realize your identity in Him.
Healthy relationships also nourish your soul. Surrounding yourself with people who encourage and uplift you brings emotional and mental stability. On the other hand, toxic relationships can drain and damage your soul. Be intentional about building connections that reflect God’s love and grace. Your soul needs positive words, not just from others but from yourself. Words like “I am blessed, favored, redeemed, and victorious.”
Joyful experiences are another essential aspect of soul care. When was the last time you laughed until your sides hurt or played like a carefree child? Simple joys like dancing, drawing, skating, or spending time in nature feed your inner child and refresh your spirit. These moments of delight are gifts from God, reminding you that life is to be enjoyed as well as lived purposefully.
Take time today to ask yourself, “What is my soul eating?” Be intentional about feeding it what’s good and life-giving. Affirm who God says you are, nurture positive relationships, embrace joy, and grow in ways that honor the temple of your soul.

I was just thinking about this same thing about you have to let go of the negativity from your mind like you're always of having an unhealthy mind is you know when you speak it was negative or the way you didn't think before you speak came out negative or you see things in the negative light but once God starts to heal and transform your body everything in your mind you was doing having positive words positivity you might have mindset will start to get positive it will filter up the negative patterns that you once did before
