Let Go of Worry
"Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you." - 1 Peter 5:7
Worrying is exhausting. It will drain your energy, steal your peace, and keep you trapped in fear over things you cannot control. But the truth is, worry does not change anything. It will not fix your finances, heal your body, bring back lost time, or guarantee a better future. Worry keeps you stuck in a cycle of stress, but trust moves you forward.
God never designed you to carry the weight of the world on your shoulders. He created you to cast your burdens on Him. You may not have all the answers, but you know the One who does. He sees your situation from beginning to end. He knows what you need before you even ask. He is not distant, unaware, or indifferent to your struggles. He is present, He is active, and He is already working on your behalf.
Jesus reminded His followers to look at the birds. They do not stress over where their next meal will come from, yet God provides for them. If He takes care of them, how much more will He take care of you? You are not forgotten. You are not alone. Whatever is weighing on your heart today, God is big enough to handle it.
Worry may feel like a natural response to life’s uncertainties, but it is not worth it. It will weaken you, discourage you, and rob you of the joy God wants you to have. The only way to break free from the cycle of anxiety is to trust God completely. Not just with some things, but with everything.
What are you holding on to that you need to release? What fear is keeping you from walking in faith? Let go of the stress that is weighing you down. Give it to the One who can handle it. Trust Him with the results, and you will find peace that worry could never give you.
