Are You Walking Away?
by Ministry Support on October 30th, 2021
“…There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. - Romans 3:22-24 Are you walking away from the church or removing yourself from a Christian friend group? Maybe you made a mistake (even a big one), and you cannot stand to hear the judgment and lectur... Read More

What You Could Have Been
by Ministry Support on October 21st, 2021
“You, then, why do you judge your brother or sister? Or why do you treat them with contempt? Fore we will all stand before God’s judgment seat. It is written: ‘As surely as I live, every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.’ So then, each of us will give an account for ourselves to God” - Romans 14:10-12 There is a trend going around on the social networking service TikTok ... Relinquish Control
by Ministry Support on October 1st, 2021
“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God— this is your true and proper worship.” - Romans 12:1 There is a story of a young man who on his 18th birthday asked his dad for the key to the car so that he could go out with his friends. His father gave him the keys but told him to return by 10:30pm becau... Read More

Our Perspective Is Not God’s Perspective
by Ministry Support on September 29th, 2021
“If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, ‘Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.’” - Romans 12:18-19 We live in a world where we may often find ourselves asking, where is the justice? When will those who have been done wrong receive the consequence of their actions? It may be ... Read More

God Wants Your Commitment
by No Limits on September 18th, 2021
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” – Romans 3:23 You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to be committed. God is big enough, God is good enough, and God is great enough to handle your imperfections. God used Abraham even though he lied about Sarah. God used Noah even though he got drunk. God used David even though he took another man’s wife. Yet what makes these characte... Read More

Don't Let Sin Be Your Master
by No Limits on September 12th, 2021
“For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.” – Romans 13:10
When you sin, you are not the only one who suffers the consequences. Those around you suffer as well. I once heard a preacher ask his audience the question, “Whose life hangs in the balance of the decisions you are making?” This might sound drastic and bold…and well, that’s exactly what it is.
Every action has a reaction; in other words, the decisions you make have consequences, which can directly affect your parents, kids, significant other, friends, team players, classmates, employees, and others in your sphere of influence. If you sow good seeds, you reap good seeds, and the same goes if you sow bad seeds.
The Bible lays out a general template for operating in the flesh (sinning) vs. operating in the Spirit (living righteously). “Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like…. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control” (Galatians 5: 19-22).
The consequences may not be immediate, but they are eventual. Maybe you are wrapped in sin, and you cannot find your way out. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. That’s where Jesus comes in. He is our help in times of trouble. He will never leave nor forsake us, even when others do.
Decide today that you will master the sin and the sin will not master you! Read More

Presence Is Greater Than Presents

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” – Romans 12:2 Rick Warren once said, ““Time is your most precious gift because you only have a set amount of it. You can make more money, but you can’t make more time. When you give someone your time, you a... Read More

The Value Of Another Perspective
by No Limits on September 3rd, 2021
“For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs t... Read More
