Are You Too Content?
"Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 3:13-14
Have you found yourself in the same spot today that you were in this time last year? Is there an area of your life where you’ve felt stuck, where growth has stalled, and nothing has changed? Maybe it’s time to level up.
Are you leveling up your mindset? Are you taking deliberate steps to improve your relationships, whether with friends, family, or God? What about your prayer life? Is it stagnant, or are you pushing yourself to go deeper, to trust God more fully, and to seek His guidance in every decision?
Sometimes leveling up means taking care of yourself in ways you’ve been neglecting. Maybe it’s time to treat your body better, to eat right, exercise, and get enough rest. Or perhaps God is calling you to level up your emotional intelligence, the way you manage stress, how you respond to difficult situations, and the way you handle relationships. Are you actively seeking ways to grow, or are you content with staying where you are?
What about your commitment to your family? Could you level up your marriage by being more present, intentional, and loving toward your spouse? Could you invest more time in your kids, guiding them in faith and teaching them by example?
God never intends for us to stay in one place. He wants us to grow, to move forward, and to become better versions of ourselves. So, today, challenge yourself to take deliberate, purposeful steps toward leveling up in every area of your life. Don’t be content with the status quo. Press on, just as Paul did, toward the goal God has set before you.
Whether it’s in your spiritual walk, your relationships, or your personal development, it’s time to go higher. It’s time to push past the obstacles, break through the stagnation, and embrace the growth that God is calling you to. It’s time to level up.
