How to Be a Success God's Way
"In Judah God is known; his name is great in Israel. His abode has been established in Salem, his dwelling place in Zion. There he broke the flashing arrows, the shield, the sword, and the weapons of war." - Psalm 76:1-3
Success in the world is often measured by power, status, and wealth. People chase after influence, believing that if they can just achieve enough, they will find security and significance. But true success is not about what you can build for yourself. It is about recognizing that real victory comes from God.
The psalmist reminds us that God alone is the one who breaks the weapons of war. He is the one who silences enemies and renders human strength useless. The warriors in this passage, strong and confident in their own abilities, were stripped of their power in an instant. Their success meant nothing when faced with the strength of God.
If you want success that lasts, it must be built on the foundation of God's presence. The world says to fight harder, climb higher, and rely on your own strength. God says to trust Him, seek Him, and allow Him to go before you. True success is not about what you can accomplish on your own. It is about what God does through you when you surrender to His will.
Are you chasing after the world's definition of success, or are you seeking the kind of success that only God can give? The strongest armies fall, the wealthiest kingdoms crumble, and the most powerful leaders fade away. But those who build their lives on God's presence will never be shaken.
Let go of the need to control your own success. Seek God's way. Trust His timing. Allow Him to fight your battles. The greatest victories in life do not come from striving. They come from surrendering to the One who holds all things in His hands.
