God Wants Your Commitment
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” – Romans 3:23
You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to be committed. God is big enough, God is good enough, and God is great enough to handle your imperfections.
God used Abraham even though he lied about Sarah. God used Noah even though he got drunk. God used David even though he took another man’s wife. Yet what makes these characters a part of history’s greatest stories is that despite their mistakes, they stayed committed to God. They admitted when they had messed up, and they allowed God to continue working in them, and through them for His purpose.
The good news is, if God can use them, He can you. Even with your flaws, your faults, and your frailties, God still wants to use you for His greater good. God has a habit of using imperfect people with questionable resumes and troubled pasts. We all have our shortcomings, but this is where God thrives, and this is where God gets all the glory.
No matter where you are, or what you have done, there is a place for you in God’s plans. He does not need your perfection. He simply wants your commitment. Even when you mess up, again and again, He just wants you to stay committed. Continue to follow Him no matter what and watch and see what incredible things He can do in and through you.
