Released From the Struggle
"We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." - 2 Corinthians 5:8
The words of the prophet Isaiah in chapter 57, verse 1 are a source of comfort and hope for those who believe in God. The prophet reminds us that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. God, who is the giver and taker of life, rescues his children from pain, predicaments, and problems. In this world, we often face suffering and sadness, but death is a release from all these evils.
For those who believe in God, death is not the end, but rather the beginning of a new life with Him. The Bible tells us that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. It is a sacred reunion with God, where there is no sickness, no sadness, and no pain. Our loved ones who have passed away have been rescued from the trials and tribulations of this world and have been transferred to the land of "no more." No more heartache, no more pain, no more distress, no more disease.
As we mourn the loss of our loved ones, we can find comfort in the fact that they have been rescued. We can take solace in the knowledge that they are with God, free from all the evils of this world. Their suffering has come to an end, and they are now at peace.
The prophet Isaiah's words remind us that death is not something to be feared but rather embraced. It is a release from the struggles of this world, and for those who believe in God, it is the beginning of a new and glorious life. Let us take comfort in these words and trust in God's plan for our lives. He is the ultimate rescuer, and He will guide us through our times of sorrow and pain.
In conclusion, let us remember that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. Death is not the end, but the beginning of a new life with God. Our loved ones who have passed away have been rescued from the evils of this world and have been transferred to the land of "no more." Let us take comfort in the fact that they are with God and let us trust in His plan for our lives.
