Vouched For
"...to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved." - Ephesians 1:6
Imagine being at an airport, ready to fly home, only to realize your ID has been stolen. That’s what happened to Dr. F. Bruce Williams during a revival trip. Despite lacking proper identification, he was allowed to board because someone vouched for him.
Similarly, our acceptance by God isn’t based on our merits or flawless records. It’s rooted in Jesus Christ, who vouches for us before the Father. Just as Dr. Williams knew someone who could validate his identity, we know Jesus, who secures our place in God’s family.
God’s acceptance of us isn’t a conditional approval based on our past achievements or failures. It’s a gracious invitation extended to us through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. Despite our shortcomings, Jesus’ sacrifice has provided us with access to God’s power and a secure place in His kingdom.
I want you to understand the freedom that comes from knowing Jesus. His acceptance liberates us from the chains of our past and empowers us to live in the fullness of His grace. We are not defined by our mistakes or shortcomings; we are defined by Jesus’ love and sacrifice for us.
Today, embrace the truth that you are accepted in the Beloved because of Jesus. Let His love and grace wash over you, renewing your spirit and filling you with joy. Walk confidently in the assurance that God’s acceptance is based on His unchanging love for you.
Rejoice in being chosen, adopted, and accepted by God. Celebrate the fact that Jesus has vouched for you, securing your place in His family forever. Live each day in the freedom and power that comes from knowing you are fully accepted by God, not because of anything you’ve done, but because of Jesus’ finished work on the cross.
