Guiding Others to Find Jesus
"Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" - John 14:6
There are times when we all find ourselves in unique corners—moments of uncertainty, trials, and questions. In these corners, the presence of those who care about us becomes invaluable. But as we stand together in these moments, there's an even greater responsibility that we share—to guide each other toward the ultimate source of hope, Jesus Christ.
In John 14:6, Jesus Himself declares, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." This profound truth serves as the compass that directs us toward eternal hope and salvation. As those in their corner, we have the privilege and responsibility to help them find this life-transforming path.
It's not enough for us to simply stand by, offering comforting words. Our role is to point them to Jesus—to guide them to the One who offers true peace, purpose, and fulfillment.
First, we must be intentional in our conversations and actions. We can share our personal testimonies of how Jesus has transformed our lives, demonstrating the hope and joy we have found in Him. By living out our faith authentically, we become living testimonies of God's grace and love.
When those in our corner are seeking answers, let us be quick to direct them to the Scriptures. Encourage them to read the Bible, explore the teachings of Jesus, and discover the truth for themselves. As they start their journey, we can offer guidance, support, and prayer every step of the way.
Ultimately, we aim to create an environment where those in our corner feel safe to ask questions, express doubts, and explore their faith. By being present, attentive, and ready to share the hope we have found in Jesus, we become instruments through which they can encounter the Savior.
