The Strength You Need
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea.” - Psalm 46:1-2
Have you ever felt as though you did not have the strength to make it. That you were depleted of everything mentally, physically, and emotionally. As if you did not know how you would must the energy to keep pressing on.
Sometimes, life has a way of knocking us down. Sometimes there is a tragic event that we can pinpoint as the source of our depletion. Other times, there is a slow decline because we fail to take care of ourselves and we suppress what we need because we have “more important” things to worry about.
However, Psalm 46 reminds us that God is our refuge and strength. We do not have to operate in our own strength because we have a God who will fill our weak areas and our voids. Family and friends may not always be able to help, but God is there is your darkest of hours.
Sometimes life has a way of reminding us that we cannot operate in our own strength, as we would often like to.
God knows how much strength you need, and He will give you everything you need. God doesn’t lead you where He cannot sustain you. If He is calling you to a comeback, every question, worry, or hesitation you have...He has the answer.
Trust Him. Let Him lead you, and He will provide you with all the strength you will need, every step of the way.
