Write Another
“You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.” - Ephesians 4:22-24
Are you unhappy with your current life? Do you wish things could be different? Maybe if you could, you would go back and change things and do some things differently. Maybe that would have made a difference in how your life is right now.
If you are in a chapter of your life that you aren’t happy with, I have some encouraging words for you today: you can write another chapter.
That’s right. You don’t have to stay where you are! God can do something totally different and new in your life! In fact, that is what He wants to do!
Ephesians 4:22-24 says, “You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.”
You can put off the old and put on the new. If you don’t like the chapter you are in, write another one! Start a new chapter. Sometimes we buy into believing that we are stuck. We think that this is as good as it gets.
But God wants you to know that there is so much more in store for you. He has bigger plans for your life, and He wants to reveal those to you. In order to do so, you must close a chapter.
It’s time to write a new chapter in your life. Let God lead you to where He wants to take you and find the fulfillment only He can give!
