Still Speaks. Still Moves. Still Delivers.
"In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace." - Ephesians 1:7
In Exodus, the Israelites were marked not by their clothes, their language, or their culture but by the blood on their doorposts. That blood was their covering, their protection, and their deliverance. But notice this. The power was not just in knowing about the blood. The power came when they applied it.
It is easy today to talk about faith and even know the right words. But the question is, have you applied the blood of Jesus over your life? Have you invited His saving power into your heart, your mind, your home, and your decisions? The blood of Jesus is not just a symbol. It is power that still works today.
Scripture tells us the blood of Jesus has reconciling power. It brings us near to God when we were once far away. It has redeeming power, setting us free from the weight of sin. It has remitting power, clearing the debt we could never pay. It has cleansing power, washing away the stains of our past. It has sanctifying power, setting us apart for God’s purpose. It has justifying power, making us right before God. And it has purchasing power, securing our place in the family of God.
You may be facing a situation right now where you feel stuck or overwhelmed. Maybe you have tried everything you know to fix it. This is your reminder. The blood still works. When you feel distant from God, the blood brings you near. When guilt weighs heavy, the blood speaks forgiveness. When you feel broken, the blood brings healing.
Andre Crouch said it beautifully in his song. The blood that gives me strength from day to day will never lose its power. It reaches to the highest mountain and flows to the lowest valley.
Where do you need to apply the power of the blood in your own life? Where do you need God’s forgiveness, His peace, or His healing? Do not leave the power of the blood on the pages of your Bible or in your church songs. Apply it. Trust it. Let it cover you today. The blood still speaks, still moves, and still delivers.
