I Will
“‘The days are coming,’ declares the Lord, ‘when I will fulfill the good promise I made to the people of Israel and Judah.’” - Jeremiah 33:14
As we have discussed the last couple of days, no matter what you are going through, God is going to send you help. No matter where you are, who you are caught up with, or how hopeless the situation seems, help is on the way. That is a promise God gives His children. He promises to never give us more than we can handle.
The question is not, will God do what He says He will do? The question isn’t on God’s end. It’s on yours. Do you believe Him? Because if you trust Him, you have nothing to worry about. See, what worry does is reveal the areas of our lives that we trust God the least. Think about it. Think about the things you don’t worry about. These will be different for everyone. Some do not worry about finances while others do. Some do not worry about health while others do.
Whatever it is that you worry about, this is where your faith and trust in God is lacking. And when you worry about a situation, it reveals where you trust God the least. Jeremiah 33:14 says two very important things: “the days are coming” and “I will fulfill the good promise I made.”
This tells not that the day “might” come. It doesn’t say keep praying and God will “possibly” answer your request. It says, “the days ARE COMING, when I WILL fulfill the good promise.” It is not a question. It is written in stone. The question is, do you trust Him? Your time is coming; that is a promise. And when that time comes, God will do all that He said He would. Do you trust Him?
