Servant Leadership
"But it is not so among you; but whoever wishes to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first among you must be slave of all." - Mark 10:43–44

Servant leadership recognizes that true authority comes not from position or power but from trust and respect earned through consistent service to others. Whether we lead in formal positions or informal influence, we all have opportunities to practice servant leadership. Parents can lead their children through patient guidance rather than authoritarian control. Community members can lead through volunteering and advocacy rather than demanding others take action. Students can lead through encouragement and inclusion rather than competition and exclusion.
Wisdom in leadership also means recognizing our own limitations and surrounding ourselves with people who complement our weaknesses. It means making decisions based on what's best for those we serve, not what enhances our own reputation or comfort.
