You’ve Lost a Lot...Now Fight
"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit" – Psalm 34:18
There is a certain kind of silence that settles in after loss. Maybe you know it. It is the quiet after the storm, when everything around you feels thinner, heavier, and harder to carry. The truth is, life hits. You lose relationships. You lose momentum. You lose parts of yourself that felt unshakeable.
And it is not fair. But it is not final either.
You may have lost a lot, but that doesn’t mean it is over. It means you are still breathing. And if you are still breathing, then you are still standing. Which means there is still something worth fighting for. You do not have to live buried under what you have lost. You can rise up and start reclaiming ground.
Fighting back does not mean pretending it didn’t hurt. It means you refuse to let it define you. It means you step into the presence of God and say, I want to recover. I want to be whole. I want to walk in everything You still have for me. That kind of courage doesn’t come from feelings. It comes from faith. Faith that says, “What I see is not the end of what God can do.”
Maybe the enemy came for your peace. Maybe he came for your marriage. Your identity. Your purpose. Your mind. He might have taken more than you thought you could handle. But what he didn’t count on was your comeback. What he didn’t factor in was your decision to get up and fight with God on your side.
You are not weak for grieving. You are not broken for feeling the weight of what you lost. But now it is time to fight. Not with bitterness or blame, but with boldness and belief. You are not too far gone. This is your moment to push back.
Go after what is yours. Pray like you believe God still restores. Move like you know healing is possible. Stand like the story is not over. You have lost a lot... Now it’s time to fight.
