Go on Offense
"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." – James 4:7
Too many people live their lives in retreat. Always reacting. Always defending. Waiting for the next attack, the next disappointment, the next thing to go wrong. But that is not how God called you to live. You were not created to live on your heels. There comes a moment when you have to go on offense.
This is not about being reckless. It is about refusing to let fear, passivity, or spiritual apathy control your future. It means recognizing when the enemy is trying to wear you down and deciding to step forward anyway. It means confronting the thoughts that try to keep you stuck and taking action in faith.
You will not walk in your purpose by playing it safe. There are things in your life that are worth fighting for. Your peace. Your purpose. Your family. Your future. And you cannot afford to just sit back and hope everything works itself out.
There is a time to pray and a time to move. A time to listen and a time to act. Some of you have been waiting too long to take the next step. You have been stuck in cycles of delay because you are still waiting for perfect conditions. But God does not call you to wait for certainty. He calls you to walk by faith.
There was a moment in Scripture when Abram found out his family had been taken. He did not wait around. He went after them. Not in panic, but with a plan. That is the posture you need. Move with wisdom. Walk in obedience. But stop waiting for the enemy to leave you alone. He will not. You have to take ground back.
This is your life. This is your calling. And this is your moment to get bold. Step into what God has placed in front of you. Speak life over your situation. Stand on His Word. And move like someone who knows they already have the victory.
You are not meant to hide from the fight. You are meant to win it.
