Will You Respond?
"And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve" - Joshua 24:15
This is your moment. You can feel it. Something in your spirit knows that God is stirring, prompting, calling. The question is, will you respond? Or will you stay where it feels safe, predictable, and under control?
It is easier to stay in what you know. It is easier to stay in the comfort of routine and the illusion of security. But has staying ever changed you? Has playing it safe ever produced the fruit you know God wants from your life?
God is already at work. He is moving. He is opening doors and creating opportunities. But He will not drag you through them. You have to move with Him. The blessings are in the movement. The growth is in the going. The miracles happen on the other side of obedience.
So let me ask you directly. Are you delaying your obedience because you are afraid of losing something that feels familiar? Are you waiting for more confirmation before you do what God already made clear? Are you praying for peace when what you need is courage?
What if the very thing you are holding onto is the thing holding you back? What if the safest place for you is no longer the most faithful place for you? What if your growth is trapped behind a decision you have not made yet?
God is not looking for perfect people. He is looking for willing people. People who will say yes even when they do not know how it will turn out. People who will trust that if He calls them to it, He will see them through it.
So what will it be? Will you choose certainty, or will you choose calling? Will you stay planted in fear, or will you step forward in faith? The question still stands. And the choice is yours.
