Will You Move with Him?
"But as for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good" - Genesis 50:20
Every time God does something new, He calls someone to move. That move may not always be geographic, but it is always spiritual. It is a shift of mindset, a step of obedience, a break from comfort, and a stretch into faith. The question is not whether God is working. He always is. The question is, will you move with Him?
That sounds like a simple question, but it is not. Moving with God means letting go of things you have grown attached to. It means walking into places that may look unfamiliar. It means trusting Him in the middle of the story, not just once you understand how it ends. God does not consult our preferences when He is moving forward with His plan. He invites us to follow.
Think about Peter. He had every cultural and religious reason to say no to the assignment with Cornelius. But God had more in mind than Peter’s comfort. He had people He wanted to reach, and He was going to use Peter to do it. Peter did not just preach in new territory; he learned new things about the heart of God. That only happened because he moved with Him.
Sometimes God is trying to take you deeper, but you are still sitting on the shore waiting for certainty. You want the details, the assurances, the guarantees. But faith never works that way. God reveals more as you obey more. If you are waiting to understand everything before you move, you may be waiting for the rest of your life.
To move with God is to trust Him more than your surroundings. It means when He speaks, you respond. When He stirs your heart, you do not dismiss it. When He opens a door, you do not keep knocking on the old one just because it is familiar. Moving with Him is not just about doing something different; it is about becoming someone different.
This is your moment to decide. Are you going to stay where it is safe, or are you going to step into the space where God is already at work? The blessings are in the movement. The growth is in the going. The miracles happen when you follow His lead. The question still stands in front of you. Will you move with Him?
