Move in Quiet Obedience
"But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing." – Matthew 6:3
It is easy to get caught up in announcing your next big move. Social media makes it even easier. A new job, a big project, a ministry idea, a business launch. Before it even starts, many people rush to tell the world. But often, when we spend more time talking about what we are going to do than actually doing it, we lose the focus and discipline needed to follow through.
There is wisdom in keeping some things between you and God until the right time. Not because you are hiding it, but because you are protecting it. Some plans are still in the seed stage, and a seed grows best when it is in the soil, not when it is on display. You can and should share with a trusted inner circle who will pray with you, encourage you, and keep you accountable. But the wider world does not need a front row seat to every step of your obedience.
God honors those who walk in quiet faithfulness. Jesus reminded His followers that when we do good, we should not do it to be seen. The same is true for stepping into what God has called you to do. It is not about making an announcement; it is about making an impact.
When God gives you an assignment, let your energy go into the doing, not the boasting. Let the results speak for themselves. When you walk in this kind of quiet obedience, you find freedom from the need for approval. You are no longer chasing likes, applause, or validation. You are simply following the One who called you.
If God is stirring something in your heart, start moving. Pray. Prepare. Work. And when the time is right, the fruit will make the announcement for you.
