Nothing Wasted
"And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose." – Romans 8:28
There are parts of your story you might wish you could forget. Mistakes you made. Pain you walked through. Seasons that were so heavy you wondered if you would make it out. Maybe you have chapters that carry shame or disappointment, things you wish you could go back and change. But what if those exact moments are what God wants to use?
The pain you experienced might be what softens your heart for what God is leading you into next. Maybe you had to walk through it so you could understand someone else's pain. Maybe your compassion had to be formed in the fire of suffering. That heartache, that loss, that season of regret, could be the very thing God is redeeming right now to shape your purpose.
God is not in the business of wasting anything. He takes the parts of your life that feel broken and builds something meaningful with them. What the enemy meant for evil, God can use for good. Even the parts you tried to hide or forget.
That failure might become your greatest ministry. That regret might open doors to conversations you never thought you would have. That pain might just be the very thing that helps someone else believe healing is possible.
You do not need to have a perfect past to have a powerful future. In fact, the more honest you are about where you have been, the more clearly others can see God at work in you.
I want to challenge you today. Instead of hiding the scars, start asking God how He wants to use them. Let Him redeem what feels ruined. Let Him rewrite what you thought was over.
Because when God gets involved, there is no such thing as wasted pain. Every piece of your past is a tool in His hands. And when you trust Him with it, He will use your story to reach someone else who needs to know redemption is still possible.
