A Mindset of More
“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us.” – Ephesians 3:20
You are not limited by what the world says is available to you. That’s not wishful thinking, it’s a biblical truth. God doesn’t operate according to supply and demand. He doesn’t run out, He doesn’t fall short, and He’s never worried about how He’s going to make ends meet.
But what you believe about God often shapes what you expect from Him. If you’ve spent most of your life around people with a scarcity mindset, you may have started to believe that you should settle, shrink back, or expect less. And over time, that kind of thinking will rob you of your hope, your dreams, and your sense of purpose.
In Exodus 36, we see something radical. God’s people were asked to give to the building of the tabernacle, and they gave so much that Moses had to tell them to stop bringing offerings. Not because of pressure, but because of perspective. They believed in the vision, and they believed in the God behind it. They weren’t operating from lack. They were living from abundance.
That’s what God wants for you. He wants to form in you a new way of thinking. One that doesn't rehearse what’s missing but remembers who your source is. The world may hand out fear and limitation, but God invites you to faith and abundance. And that abundance doesn’t just show up around you; it begins in you.
Ephesians 3:20 reminds us that God’s power works within us. That means you don’t need to wait for the conditions to change before you start living like there’s more. You change how you see, how you believe, and how you move, and then you watch as God starts building more than you imagined.
You don’t need to be convinced that there’s more out there. You need to believe there’s more in you. Because with God, there always is.
