The Lens of Possibility
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." — 2 Corinthians 5:17
One of the defining characteristics of life is growth. Not just physical or intellectual growth, but spiritual renewal. God’s desire for you is to constantly move forward, to build on every chapter of life, and to step into all He has planned for you. To do that, you must see life through the lens of possibility. When you encounter a challenge, instead of seeing a roadblock, recognize it as an opportunity for God to do something new.
Just as God brought order out of chaos at creation, He calls us to make something out of what seems like nothing in our own lives. Where you see lack or uncertainty, God sees potential. Where there’s a void, He calls you to fill it. Where there’s brokenness, He empowers you to bring healing. Your role is to keep moving, even when it feels like progress is slow or unseen.
The world around us is constantly evolving—our phones, apps, and technology are always being upgraded. Yet many of us cling to outdated mindsets, habits, or expectations. We’re stuck in ways of living that no longer serve God’s purpose for our lives. We upgrade our devices but often live with downgraded expectations. We have access to more information than ever, yet we still struggle with stress, anxiety, and a lack of direction.
God wants more for you. He’s calling you to let go of the old and embrace the new. This is not just about advancing, it’s about allowing God to renew and transform you. It may require surrendering old patterns or ideas you’ve been holding onto. But as you let God work in those areas, you open the door to experience the fullness of His plan for your life.
Don’t settle for staying where you are. Instead, seek God’s renewal in every part of your life. He is always at work, shaping you to reflect more of His image and fulfill more of His purpose. Will you allow Him to create something new in you today?
