Power Available to You
"...and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places." - Ephesians 1:19-20
In his letter to the Ephesians, Paul emphasizes the immeasurable greatness of the power available to believers. This power, he explains, is not superficial or fleeting; it is grounded in God's own might, demonstrated most profoundly in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Just as the Bugatti's power is rooted in its finely engineered components, our spiritual power as Christians is rooted in God Himself through the Holy Spirit.
When we talk about power in the Christian life, we're not referring to physical strength or worldly influence. It's a power that transcends earthly measures—it's divine, supernatural, and transformative. It's the power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at the right hand of God. This same power is available to us who believe.
God's power within us empowers us to live victoriously. It enables us to navigate life's challenges with faith and courage, to love others sacrificially, and to stand firm in our convictions.
And this power is not exclusive or unattainable. It's offered freely to all who believe in Jesus Christ. It's a power that equips us to fulfill God's purposes in our lives and to bring glory to His name.
As you go about your day, remember the power that resides within you as a follower of Christ. It's not based on your own strength or abilities, but on the indwelling Holy Spirit who empowers and guides you. Let this truth fill you with confidence and assurance, knowing that you are equipped to live boldly and faithfully for God's kingdom.
