Seeing The End
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” - Proverbs 3:5-6
When it comes to trusting God, there is something you should know: life doesn’t have to all make sense in order for you to trust in Him. You don’t have to know how it is all going to turn out. That is not something that is required for us to trust God.
If you have been raised in the church or have been a believer for some time, you know what faith is. Faith is trusting God even when we cannot see what He is doing. Sometimes, we must trust God, even when we don’t understand the process.
God is going to do something in our lives, lead us through the unknown, and we must trust Him. We might not understand that work. We might not see how that work will lead us to where He is saying we will go, but we must trust Him anyways.
Has there ever been a time in your life like this? Has there been a time when you knew exactly where God was leading you, but you just didn’t know how He was going to get you there?
What about the times when God requires you to trust Him, even when you don’t see the end? What about when you don’t know how things are going to turn out? Do you still trust Him? It is one thing to trust God when you don’t know what He is doing, but you know where it is leading.
But what about when you don’t know where or what it is going to lead to? God wants your trust even when you don’t know the final outcome. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
Don’t know how it’s all going to shake out? Trust Him anyways. You won’t regret it.
