Advancement is Evident
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” - Matthew 6:33
In order to reach the heights God wants to take you to, oftentimes it starts with self-improvement. There is a quote that says, “Keep doing what you’re doing, and you will keep getting what you’re getting.”
If you want to keep reaping the same negative consequences, then keep doing what you are doing. But if you want a more abundant life, then improvement is essential. The good news is, once you make the improvements God places in front of you, then advancement becomes evident.
Matthew 6:33 says, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
God wants you to advance. He wants to take you to a level you have never been to before. God’s will is not for you to stay at the level you are at. He always wants you to be growing. His ultimate purpose for you is to make you more and more like His Son, Jesus.
And as you grow to be like Jesus, God will advance you in all aspects of your life. The problem is, most people want the reward without the work. They want to advance without improvement. But it doesn’t work that way.
Do you want to advance? Start with asking God in what areas you can improve. Then allow Him to lead you to that improvement. When you make improvements essential to your life, then advancement will be evident.
