Improvement is Essential
“To put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.” - Ephesians 4:22-24
Have you ever heard someone say, “God loves me just the way I am”? That is true. God does love us for who we are. The fact is, He made us, and He loves us just the way He made us. God’s love is unconditional, and you do not have to do anything to earn it.
But that does not mean that you cannot improve who you are. The reality is, as humans, we all have sin inside of us and struggle with evil desires. Because of this, we can always improve. And while God will love us no matter what, we cannot use that as an excuse to not become the best version of ourselves. For us to experience better, we must become better. And that starts with improving who we are.
Ephesians 4:22-24 says, “To put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.”
Do you want better for your life? God does. And the truth is, He has better planned for you. But if you want to experience God’s very best, you must obey Him. It is time to level up! And that starts with improvement. Do you want God's best? Improvement is an essential part of that. Let God lead you to the best version of yourself!
