Nothing Can Stop You
“For the Lord your God is He who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.” - Deuteronomy 20:4
Not only is everything in the Bible the truth of God, but you can be assured that when God is on your side, no one and nothing can stop you. We see this in Scripture on several different accounts.
Deuteronomy 20:4 tells us, “For the Lord your God is He who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.”
Romans 8:37 tells us, “Now, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”
1 John 5:4 says, “For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.”
Did you catch that? FAITH. Faith is the victory that allows us to overcome the world. You might not know how everything in your life is going to play out. You can’t predict what is coming or who will oppose you. But when you trust God and allow Him to lead you, you cannot fail.
He will not fail you. When you are obedient to Him, victory is assuredly yours in Him. Sometimes, it can be difficult to trust in that which is not seen. And it is a little easier when we know what the outcome will be. You might not know how He will do it, but you do know what He will do.
Victory is yours in Christ Jesus. With Him on your side, nothing can stop you from accomplishing the will of God, which will bring ultimate joy and purpose to your life.
