Things Not Seen
“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” - Hebrews 11:1
Over the last few days, we have been discussing faith and trust. Faith is believing without seeing. Without faith, we know it is impossible to please God. Why? Because having faith shows that we trust God to handle our situation. As our Creator, He already knows the end. He just wants us to trust Him for the process.
We must trust Him in all areas: salvation, love, giving, career, forgiveness, and even our purpose. Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”
I know there are things going on in your life that are specific to your own individual circumstances. And maybe you have tried to find YouTube videos or TikToks of people in similar circumstances. Maybe you have tried to find devotions talking about the topic associated with your situation. However, not everything can be explained in a video.
In every “solution” you find, there may be a nuance that doesn’t quite relate to your predicament. Maybe no one has gone through your exact situation or handled it the way you did. But you know what? You aren’t alone.
Not only are you not alone, but you serve the God who has the solution. He isn’t asking you to see it or hear it from someone else first. He wants you to face your circumstances head-on for the first time. But here’s the thing: you have HIM by your side every step of the way.
He is going to walk with you. He will be right beside you. All He is asking for is your faith, not to see it, but to believe it. Believe Him even when you don’t see the outcome or the outcome to your situation looks impossible. He’s got you covered!
