It All Has Purpose
“The Lord has made everything for His own purposes, even the wicked for a day of disaster.” - Proverbs 16:4
The people you meet, the circumstances you go through, and the experiences you encounter all have a purpose. Nothing is coincidental. Everything is intentional, orchestrated by God.
So often we question God and wonder why He has allowed certain things to happen in our lives. We think “If God really cared about me, He wouldn’t allow me to hurt like this.” Or, “If God loved me, He would remove this situation from my life.”
However, trials come to prepare us – to make us more empathetic, reduce complacency, give us new perspective, and make us more resilient. Proverbs 16:4 confirms this when it says, “The Lord has made everything for His own purposes, even the wicked for a day of disaster.” It may be difficult to see while you are going through it, but that pain is not in vain.
No matter what you are going through or how hard life seems at the moment, I have good news for you. The Lord your God has a great plan for your life, and He wants to use you in ways you can’t even imagine right now.
But in order to use you the way He wants, you must go through the storm. Allow the purposes of God to be perfected in and through your life. He is creating a testimony that might just change the world. It all has a purpose. And God will use that purpose for your good and His glory!
