He Sees You
“One Sabbath day as Jesus was teaching in a synagogue He saw a woman who had been crippled by an evil spirit. She had been bent double for eighteen years and was unable to stand up straight.” - Luke 13:10-11
As we continue to highlight the woman in Luke 13, I want you to see something that is very important. The woman showed up to see Jesus, and because of that, her life changed forever. But when reading this passage, what you must not miss is that not only did she see Jesus, but Jesus sees her.
She had a range of issues, problems, needs, and concerns, and being in the house, being in the presence of Jesus provided an opportunity for Jesus to see her. He saw her problems, He saw her passion, He saw her dilemma, but He also saw her determination.
If you are reading this right now, I want you to know, JESUS SEES YOU. I’m reminded of the words of that hymn of the church that goes, “Jesus knows all about our struggles. He will guide us til the day is done. There’s not a friend like the lowly Jesus. No not one. No not one.”
He knows our location, and He knows our situation. The Lord knows our problems as well as our pain. He sees your situation, He sees your location, and He sees your determination. Don’t ever think that Jesus doesn’t see you and what you are going through.
Even when it seems as though you are invisible to others, you are seen by God! He knows your every thought, your every wish, your every dream. He knows the things you desire and the things that you are afraid of. There is nothing you can do to run from the eyes of God. My friend, Jesus sees you, and He loves you!
