Staying On Track
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.” - Psalms 32:8
As human beings, we all want to stay on track, right? We want to stay on track spiritually. We want to stay on track financially, and we want to stay on track in our relationships. It is the secret to spiritual success. If we want to accomplish our dreams, possess God’s blessings, and minimize life’s hardships along the way, we will want to make sure that we stay on the right path.
If you are on the verge of making some major life decision that, if you are not careful, can veer your life off course, this is for you. You desperately need to avoid the perils and pitfalls of the wrong decision so that you do not have to deal with the delays, difficulties, and detours that the devil will try to put in your path.
In Psalm 32:8 God tells us, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.” If you want to stay on track and make the right decision, you must allow God to instruct you. Staying in His Word is the best way for Him to teach you the way you should walk.
It is when we get away from Him and distance ourselves from His Word that we make decisions without the right influence. And while some decisions are small and do not have severe consequences, others are much bigger, and the consequences are equally as damaging.
If you find yourself in the position of having to make a big decision, take it to God. You do not want to get off track and suffer from delays, difficulties, and detours that you were never intended to face. Allow Him to lead you and teach you so that you can stay on track for your destiny and His will for your life!
