Faith Is God’s Love Language
“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” - Hebrews 11:6
Throughout the Bible, God illustrates that what happens for us, in us, and through us is a result of standing on our faith when times get tough. Faith, sincere faith, sparks the delight of God.
What communicates to God that we love Him is when we trust Him. It demonstrates to Him, and to others, that we have faith in what He promised and that we believe He will perform it. The same way that God does not forget the sparrow and can number the hairs on our heads as Jesus said in Luke 12:6-7, so does the Lord remember, honor, and value those who love Him.
Hebrews 11 tells us that without faith it is impossible to please God, that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. We know how essential prayer is for our spiritual lives; but as essential as prayer is, it does not work until we apply faith.
In any situation, good and bad, remember that you are not operating through your own strength. You have God standing beside you. He sees your need and is moving on your behalf. He just asks that you trust that matter what you are going through, you will lean on Him. There is nothing He loves more!
