God's Promises Are Sure
“For no matter how many promises God has made, they are ‘Yes’ in Christ. And so through him the ‘Amen’ is spoken by us to the glory of God.” – 2 Corinthians 1:20
God’s promises are certain. He is not like that one individual in your life who makes promises and does not fulfill them. You might not know when it will happen or the details of how it will happen, but if God said it, it will come to pass. You can claim it, own it, and expect it in advance.
When you go on a journey of following God, the devil is going to step in and tempt you. He is most afraid of you doing God’s Kingdom work. He wants to throw you off your path. So, when you commit to God, expect temptations and challenges to come early and come often.
This does not mean you have to be fearful or give in to these temptations. No matter how things might look in the moment, you can guarantee that God will do everything He says He will.
Is there a promise God has given you? One that you know He has specifically told you to hold on to. Claim the promise God has given you today. Walk in boldness knowing you will see the promise. You can count on God, and you can expect Him to come through for you. That is the type of God we serve!
