A Date With The Divine

“The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and his angels.” - Revelation 3:5
Like the church at Sardis, many of us appear to the public as being alive and well. But privately, we are dead. We struggle with depression, anxiety, lack of positive self-image, and lack of self-confidence. However, God specializes in resetting and restoring the broken affairs of our lives. It’s why the psalmist proclaims in Psalm 23, “He restores my soul.”
God has every intention of rescuing you. He does not want you to go through the endless cycle of self-promotion, putting on a facade, and giving the false narrative that you have everything together. In reality, no one has it all together. Everyone is fighting a battle.
The good news is that you do not have to fight these battles alone. Allow God to restore you. End the cycle of trying to do it all on your own. Tell God your struggles, your fears, and your worries.
When you do, He will come in. And He will begin to restore what has long been broken. He has done it for me and for countless others. His love and restoration is limitless. Inviting God in will be the greatest decision you ever make.
