Become Who The Person God Intended You To Be...
“Put your outdoor work in order and get your fields ready; after that, build your house.” - Proverbs 24:27
Yesterday we talked about how you can do amazing things when you are single. While the length of time you remain single might be unknown, one thing you want to make sure you are doing is not wasting the time you have alone. Most of us dream of meeting “The One.” That person who is stunningly beautiful (or handsome), smart, funny, and has every other quality we could ever want in a romantic partner. It is great to want these qualities and to strive to find someone incredible. However, in order to attract someone like this, you must prepare yourself to be the person God is intending you to be.
This does not mean you have to change your personality, or adopt an entirely new look. What it does mean is that in your time of being single, you should prioritize your own growth. This can be spiritually, but it can also be emotionally, physically, or mentally. If you want to enter into your dream relationship with your dream partner, the first step is to seek the voice of God because His divine plan will ensure that you are aligned with your purpose mate.
This is something we all want, but amazingly, few prepare for it. Today’s key verse speaks about preparing the foundation of the fields and ground before building the house. The same can be said for you. Before you build your house, or in this case a relationship, make sure you have built the foundation, the ground upon which you will stand. You will attract the type of person you are looking for when you set out to become the person God has designed you to be. You will never go wrong chasing the will of God.
