Have It All
And we know that all things work together for the good of them that love God and are called according to his purpose. – Romans 8:28
I want you to think about how many times “all” appears in Scripture. Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me,” and in Philippians 4:19, Paul writes, “My God shall supply ALL of your need according to His riches in glory.”
Ephesians 3:20 says, “Now unto Him who is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above ALL that you could ever ask, think, or imagine.” And Jesus said, “ALL things are possible to him that believes” (Mark 9:23).
I believe God is trying to tell us something by continuing to use the word “all.” He is saying we don’t have to settle for having some of our needs met, we can have it all. Our God is the God of abundance. He does not withhold good gifts from His children. He is not a God of scarcity. He doesn’t just give us access to Himself from time to time. No, He is always with us, always available to us, always watching out for us, and always taking care of us. He gives us all of His love. No exceptions.
So even if life doesn’t look the way you thought it would right now, even if you’re walking through hard times, and even if the trials, struggles, and uncertainties you’re facing are overwhelming, you have all that you need in Jesus. He is always enough, and you will never be in want if you have Him.
