Darkness Does Not Decide the Outcome
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. - John 1:5
There are seasons when darkness feels overwhelming. Fear grows louder. Systems feel oppressive. The future feels uncertain. It is easy to assume that darkness is winning simply because it is visible.
Scripture offers a different perspective. Darkness does not determine the outcome. It does not have final authority. It does not get the last word.
The message of Scripture is consistent. God often works quietly while chaos makes noise. What looks like dominance is often desperation. What feels permanent is usually temporary.
Many people underestimate what they have already survived. There were moments designed to break you, derail you, or erase you. Loss, rejection, hardship, and disappointment came, but they did not succeed. You are still here.
Survival itself is evidence that darkness does not have ultimate power.
Light does not always arrive suddenly. It often comes gradually. Hope stretches slowly. Healing unfolds in stages. But once light begins to appear, darkness starts to retreat.
God’s work is not always immediate, but it is always intentional. He does not abandon people in difficult seasons. He strengthens them through them.
When something good is about to happen, it does not mean the struggle instantly ends. It means the outcome has already been decided.
Darkness may feel heavy, but it is not permanent. God remains present, active, and faithful.
The story is still unfolding, and light is still moving forward.
