Healing Happens in His Hands
"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." - Psalm 147:3
When life feels shattered, the natural instinct is to run. Run from the pain, run from the past, run from the things you can’t fix. But the truth is that healing is not found in your escape route. It’s found in the hands of the One who knows how to restore what has been broken.
You might be tempted to numb the pain, distract yourself, or try to move on without ever addressing what really needs to be dealt with. But you can’t heal what you keep hiding. And you can’t recover while constantly avoiding the process God is trying to walk you through. Healing happens when you stay, not when you sprint.
God does not promise comfort without challenge. He promises presence in the middle of the pain. If you will remain in His hands, He will reshape what the enemy tried to destroy. But you have to trust that His way is better, even when it takes longer than you hoped and touches wounds you thought you buried for good.
There is a deep kind of restoration that only happens when you lean into the discomfort. When you stop pretending you are fine and allow God to dig into the places that still ache. That kind of healing changes you. It strengthens your faith, softens your heart, and reminds you that you are not beyond repair.
Let God do the slow work. Let Him rebuild what was torn down. He is not in a hurry, and He never gives up on what He starts. Your scars are not the end of your story. They are the places where His grace will show up the brightest.
Stay in His hands. Stay in the process. You do not have to live broken. Healing is possible. And it begins when you stop running and let the Healer do what only He can do.
