Apply Wisdom to the Battle
"Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding" – Proverbs 3:13
You might be in a fight right now. Not a physical one, but a real battle for your peace, your purpose, your growth, or your future. Life gets heavy, and when it does, your first instinct might be to push harder, grind more, or force your way through. But sometimes the real breakthrough does not come from effort alone. It comes from wisdom.
Wisdom is what takes your energy and gives it direction. It is what helps you stop swinging wildly and start striking intentionally. In a fight, that matters. Because not everything you are doing is actually helping you win.
You say you want to get your finances in order. That takes more than just praying for money to show up. It means sitting down, creating a budget, cutting unnecessary spending, and learning how to steward what you have. That is applying wisdom to the battle.
You want to get your health back. You are tired of feeling drained or stuck. But wishing for change won’t make it happen. Wisdom says build a plan, eat what fuels your body, move consistently, and stay committed even when the results are slow.
You want to grow spiritually. That requires more than attending a service once a month or listening to a few motivational quotes. Wisdom says open your Bible, get around people who sharpen you, and build daily habits that align your heart with God’s voice.
The truth is, you don’t need another emotional high. You need wisdom that will hold you steady when life isn’t exciting. Passion might get you started, but wisdom will keep you going.
What area of your life needs more strategy and less guesswork? Where are you working hard but not working smart? Ask God for wisdom. Seek it like your life depends on it, because it might. You don’t just need to fight harder. You need to fight wiser. And when you do, everything changes.
