Get Your Stuff Back
"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly" – John 10:10
It’s one thing to cry over what you’ve lost. It’s another thing to get up and take it back.
Somewhere along the way, life may have knocked something out of your hands. Your peace. Your purpose. Your sense of identity. Your family unity. Your focus. Whatever it was, you know deep down it mattered. And even if you’ve convinced yourself that it’s gone for good, God may be trying to remind you that it is still worth fighting for.
The enemy would love for you to settle. To accept a watered-down version of your life. To believe that what was taken will stay gone forever. But that’s not the kind of life Jesus came to give you. He came to restore, to redeem, and to make new. Not just spiritually, but in the real stuff too. Your relationships. Your joy. Your clarity.
David lost everything at Ziklag. His camp had been raided, his people taken, and his men were ready to turn on him. But instead of staying down, David strengthened himself in the Lord, asked God for direction, and went after what had been stolen. And he got it back. All of it.
And you know what? You can too. This isn’t the time to sit around in regret or replay how things fell apart. This is the time to get up and reclaim what God still has for you. Not in your own strength, but with spiritual boldness, prayer, faith, and clarity. Your fight may look different, but it’s still a fight. And God will go with you when you move.
The enemy doesn’t get to write your ending. The losses don’t define you. The past doesn’t get to hold your future hostage.
You’ve cried. You’ve mourned. You’ve wondered. But now it’s time to rise. What has the enemy tried to steal from your life? Go get it back.
