Another Way Home

In today’s key passage of Scripture, the disciples and the followers of Jesus are trying to understand from Jesus what is the best way to get to God the Father. It starts with Jesus telling them in John 13:33 that He is going someplace that they cannot go as long as they keep thinking the say way. He then proceeds to unfold for them then and us now another way to get home to God the Father. I like this because people tend to think that the way they know or the way they’ve been taught or the way they’ve experienced God is the only way to know Him. But these verses challenge us to think outside the box when it comes to understanding what we need to do and how we need to live in order to be acceptable to God.
