Choosing The Right Path
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." - Proverbs 3:5–6
Every day presents us with countless decisions, from small choices about how we spend our time to major life-altering decisions about career, relationships, and finances. The wisdom literature of Scripture teaches us that the key to making good choices isn't relying solely on our own understanding but trusting in God's guidance.
When we acknowledge God in all our ways, we invite His wisdom into both major decisions and daily routines. This means starting our day with prayer, considering how our choices align with biblical principles, and being willing to adjust our plans when God redirects our steps.
Trusting God with all our heart requires releasing our need to control outcomes. It means believing that God's ways are higher than our ways, even when His guidance doesn't make sense from a human perspective. This kind of trust develops over time as we experience God's faithfulness in small matters and learn to depend on Him in larger ones.
