Get In the Way

When the Lord asks, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” this is a question we all qualify to answer. But sadly, rather than saying, “Yes Lord, send me, I’ll go,” far too many of us, “say no; not yet, Lord. Hold on or wait until I get my life together, then I’ll go. Lord, let me get this promotion, let me start a family first and get my kids through college first, then I’ll go.” That’s wasn’t Isaiah’s answer. And His willingness to serve the Lord at whatever time, in whatever way, for however long is the same willingness we should all strive to have as we follow Christ. So in this message, we are going to take a look at the different characteristics God is looking for in the people He uses to further His kingdom. This way, we can be diligent and intentional to develop these characteristics so when God asks, “Whom shall I send?” we will be ready to go.
